Municipal Library "Prince of Villadorata" was inaugurated in 1847 with 3657 volumes, the nucleus of which donated by Prince of Villadorata. Transferred because of continuous increase of the material in the former St. Dominic's Convent, it remained there until 1981 when it was moved to a wing of Palace of Villadorata, where returned to be usable since 2009. Currently, the collection of books consists of about 80.000 volumes. Library holds also paintings and portraits of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and a collection of twenty portraits of famous citizens, from Astuziano Museum.
