Forte San Jachiddu stands on a relief from which you can enjoy a wonderful view. The structure, similar to other classical Umbertine works for size and trapezoidal shape, has a retractable bridge entry on the moat and is available on three floors connected by internal and external ramps and stairs. On the ground floor are the stores. The Fort has been completely recovered and is now home to events, among the most active fortifications in Messina.
