The Sanctuary of Montenero is one of the largest collections of votive of Italy: with 700 collected and displayed in the large rooms that surround the Church. The dating of these votive tablets is recent, starting in the early years of the '800 today. Votive describe the faith of those who wanted them to leave, we also show slices of daily life from different periods. In large numbers are those that portray events that happened on the sea whose subjects fishing boats, tall ships or vessels. It can also admire famous works as "The horse" by Giovanni Fattori, "The motorcyclist" by Renato Natali and the same author also a great view of the Port of Livorno.
