Palazzo Ferniani

Where Via Naviglio, 14, Faenza (Ravenna)

Built in the middle of the 18th century by Counts Ferniani on the project of Faentee Gian Battista Boschi, assisted by Bolognese Alfonso Torreggiani, in the extension of adjacent oldest building. In the corner was beautiful marble statue of Immaculate Conception, the work by Bolognese Ottavio and Nicola Toselli. The entrance portal is surmounted by elaborate balcony with wrought iron railing, with the center of the family coat of arms, the eagle on the sea, surmounted by the crown. Inside, long gallery of noble floor overlooking the great Ballroom, from which you can access the Chapel with floor in decorated ceramic moldings. The palace hosted a large painting of Italian and foreign authors from the 15th to the 18th century.
