Teatro dei Ruderi di Cirella

The Theater of the Ruins of Cirella was born on initiative by the City Council of Diamante. Designed by Francesco Tucci and Francesco Cristofaro, the structure was built between 1994 and 1997. It's located near the archaeological site of Cirella, a hillside village where they took refuge the residents of Diamante to escape the Saracen invasions, in ninth century. The location, rich in history and natural charm, offers a unique atmosphere to the representations and cultural events sponsored by the Cultural Association for Theatre and Entertainment "Theatre of the Cedars".
