The so-called "Old Promenade" was built in 1965. After a few years, the waterfront was extended to the south, reaching the current Basilica and the "Guardiola" beach. Looking out over the "Old Waterfront", by many called the "Diamante's living room", in full moon nights it can watch the boats equipped with fishing lights and agile fishermen jumping among the rocks, fishing for polyps. By day, it can admire the coast, just like the bridge of a ship.
