Cesenatico
Cesenatico has a valuable canal-canal built in 1500 by original Leonardo da Vinci project. In Piazza Ciceruacchio a tile profile of different colors highlights the plant of a sighting tower, destroyed during Napoleonic Wars. Along the Corso Garibaldi is still the house that gave an overnight stay to Giuseppe and Anita Garibaldi fleeing from Rome to Venice (1849). If the port canal represents historical Cesenatico, Cesenatico Skyscraper, built in the 1950s on the seafront, in new area of the city in front of the pre-existing Grand Hotel, is undoubtedly the symbol of modern and tourist Cesenatico. In Cesenatico there is also the Marineria Museum, which includes some boats that are moored at the canal.
