The Archaeological Area covers an area of monumental necropolis that developed between the late Hellenistic and early Imperial age, along an extra-urban road leaving the ancient city of Abella to the west towards the Campana plain. The complex, open to the public, includes four mausoleums and funeral bordered by fences made of uncertain work or crosslinked, with inserts of brick. The mausoleums are related to the field of architectural types widely known in other centers coeval of ancient Campania.
