Under old parish church of the village, excavations have unearthed an early Christian cruciform Basilica, indicated as Concilium Sanctorum, Assembly of Saints because it was built on the tombs of the first martyrs buried in Roman cemetery area, which in turn on Protohistoric funeral settlement. Inside, you can see parts of liturgical structures, the relic platform with the tombs of three bishops who lived between the fifth and sixth centuries (Grato, Agnello, Gallo) and other tomb chambers dating between the V and VIII century.
