Opened in 2000 as a documentation center on the Anghiari Battle, the Museum was later expanded in 2007. It looks like a theme trail on periods or events of local history: the first rooms contain Prehistoric tools and remains of an archaeological excavation of Roman age; then it come back to Medieval and Modern period, with an exhibition documenting historical, military, artistic and urban events. Plus the collection of anghiaresi firearms and locally produced ceramics.
