Church of thirteenth century. The interior has a single nave, reflects the style of the Norman-Gothic facade, with a pointed doorway surmounted by marble decorations, including the bas-reliefs of Saints Peter and Paul. Inside it houses a marble sarcophagus depicting the legend of Phaedra and Hippolytus, besides the famous wooden crucifix described in the novel by Pirandello "Lord of the ship".
