Settimo Torinese (Torino)
Settimo Torinese is a comune in the province of Turin, in Piedmont, Italy. It is a Turinese suburb taking its name from the distance from that city, which amounted to seven Roman miles. It is bounded by other comuni of Leinì, Mappano, Volpiano, Brandizzo, San Mauro Torinese, Castiglione Torinese, and Turin.
The most important sight is the Tower of Settimo, the last remain of the medieval castle (13th–14th centuries) mostly destroyed in the 16th century wars.
