The Museum is a dynamic center for experimentation, documentation and exhibition of ceramics. It's engaged on a territory marked by a historical background caracterized, since the Middle Ages, by the process of extraction and export of clay. It can visit unique sites such as furnaces fagots, survived until the nineteenth century in business. Two of these have been restored and are periodically activated in the same ritual century. The old underground warehouses of communal property became home to the Museum and used to make various street furniture, as well as a regular series of exhibitions (biennials, exhibitions experimental) which was attended by artists, architects and associations.
