The former Aurum liquor plant was restored and reopened to the public as polyvalent museum structure in 2007. The structure, originally designed by Antonino Liberi as a lido of the flourishing economy of Pescara area since 1910, took the form of an iron of horse according to the following project by Giovanni Michelucci. The area, located in the south of the city, includes various Art Nouveau buildings and villas, within the Dannunziana pine forest.
