Museum, located next to the main floor of historic Cafe Pedrocchi, was inaugurated in 2004. The site is particularly significant since February 8, 1848, just inside Pedrocchi factory took the wounding of a university student by Austrians soldiers that gave way to some of motions of Italian Risorgimento. Museum exhibits documents, weapons, works of art, medals and photographs showing a century and a half of Padua and national history, from the fall of Venetian Republic (1797) until the entry into force of Italian Constitution (1948). One room is used as a video library.
