Dedicated to the protagonists of the Ciompi Revolt, this simple little Square was open only in the thirties of the twentieth century. The Square took only character in the fifties, when it was rebuilt the Loggia del Pesce, an architecture by Giorgio Vasari which existed some fragments saved and preserved in the lapidary St. Mark Museum, built in the sixteenth century to house the fishmen. The work of replacement were performed by Giulio Cesare Orlandi Lensi. In the same period, it was also set up a fixed flea market, now historic, which was followed shops devoted to antiques. An authentic corner of Florence with local charm. At number 11, a plaque commemorates Lorenzo Ghiberti's home.
