BIBLIOTECA UNIVERSITARIA DI PISA
The Library is located in the Palace of Wisdom, the ancient seat of the University of Pisa, and even todayseat of many institutes of the Faculty of Law. Located in the heart of the city, is easily accessible from the station.
Service:
They can go to the library all people over the age of fourteen years; children under this age must be accompanied.
It provides read of monographs, periodicals, newspapers, microfilms. The bibliographic material required can be lent for a week. Requests can be submitted up to 6.30 p.m. from Monday to Friday and until 1.00 p.m. on Saturday.
For funds kept in external warehouses the requests must be submitted on the previous day. Are available on the open shelves of the periodicals and books related to the field of librarianship and bibliography.
The request and the consultation of rare and valuable works published up to 1830 is reserved in the Hall of the Library.
The management likes the reporting of any damage found in the works given in reading.
