Famous Castles of Abruzzo for its majesty, stands on a trapezoidal base, which are grafted on the square corner towers, typical of Abruzzo landscape of Peligna Valley, and three circular bastions, the result of a strengthening intervention carried out in the second half of XV century by Orsini family. Even the construction of the walls is due in this period. In the 60s Castle was restored and later brought back to its original aspect.
