Ovada (Oâ and GuàOvà in Piedmontese) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) southeast of Turin and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) south of Alessandria.
Ovada borders the following municipalities: Belforte Monferrato, Cremolino, Molare, Rocca Grimalda, Rossiglione, Silvano d'Orba, Tagliolo Monferrato, and Trisobbio.
