Neirone is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Genoa in the Italian region Liguria, located about 20 kilometres (12 mi) east of Genoa. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 985 and an area of 29.6 square kilometres (11.4 sq mi).
The municipality of Neirone contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Acqua di Ognio, Corsiglia, Lezzaruole, Ognio, Roccatagliata, and San Marco D'Urri.
Neirone borders the following municipalities: Favale di Malvaro, Lorsica, Lumarzo, Mocònesi, Torriglia, Tribogna, Uscio.
