Muzzana del Turgnano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Udine in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) northwest of Trieste and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) southwest of Udine. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,728 and an area of 24.4 square kilometres (9.4 sq mi).
The municipality of Muzzana del Turgnano contains the frazione (subdivision) Casali Franceschinis.
Muzzana del Turgnano borders the following municipalities: Carlino, Castions di Strada, Marano Lagunare, Palazzolo dello Stella, Pocenia.
