The museum focuses on the famous fresco of the Last Supper painted by Andrea del Sarto. Reorganized in 1982, the museum includes the monumental environments sixteenth-century monastery of Vallombrosa. In the hallway, in the room with the sink in the kitchen and Benedetto da Rovezzano are works of painters stylistically related to Sarto, who come from various churches and deposits of the Florentine galleries. In the refectory painted by Sarto (1511 and 1526-1527) were collected other paintings and frescoes, the work of Andrea himself and his great pupil Jacopo Pontormo.
