The museum was established to represent the historical memory of football and bodies connected to it and to show how the sporting events are intertwined with those of civil society, costume, culture, economy, politics. There are collections of memorabilia, documents, publications related to the world of football and especially the victories of the Italian national team to the World Cup in 1934-1938-1982-2006, Europeans and Olimpics Game 1968 and 1936 and the artistic and cultural factors that have subject as this sport. But rather than turn to the preservation and exhibition of memorabilia, it serves as a museum in which multimedia data, images, movies, sounds are collected in a database made available on the consulatazione visitors.
