Located in an old sulfur refinery, not far from Catania Central Station, is a Scientific Interactiv Museum consists of five sections called "Islands", an exhibition area distributed along a suspended corridor, an auditorium, some laboratories and a  coffee place. Irregular courtyard where it was weighing the sulfur has become the focus of the Center around which are distributed the different environments designed as a place to meet and socialize, while high and bright interior spaces accommodate two exhibition levels, according to the project by architects Pietro Cal and Salvatore Puleo. Educational exhibits are distributed along the suspended corridor, while the other shows do not follow linear paths, encouraging free visit.
