Built in the early eighteenth century, designed by Angelo Italia, which overturned the orientation of the new building on the previous destroyed by the earthquake of 1693, it has a "tower bell" facade, designed by Stefano Ittar, which is a masterful example of Baroque in Catania: the first row has six stone columns topped by a balustrade; in the second, a central window with four large statues of Saints and a central part that houses the bells. It is accessed by a grand staircase, on which there is a wrought iron gate. The interior has a basilica plant with three naves separated by eight pillars and three apses. In the right aisle meet baptistery and three altars with paintings by Francesco Gramignani. After all, the altar of the Immaculate, protected by a marble balustrade, on which there is a marble statue of the Madonna. In the central place is the high altar with an icon of the Madonna and Child. Behind the altar, a wooden organ of the eighteenth century. In the left aisle, the Chapel of SS. Sacramento with marble altar.
