The Palace was built in 1743, on probabe project by architect Gian Battista Vaccarini, in Sicilian baroque style, commissioned by the Duke Gioeni of Anjou as family palace. The main entrance is surrounded by a rich white stone portal. Here was hosted Johann Wolfgang von Goethe during his stay in Catania.
