Cala Goloritzé - Golfo di Orosei
Cala Goloritzé has been declared "Natural Monument" of Sardinia Region in 1993 and "National Monument" in 1995. The beach, one of the most suggestive of Sardinia, born from a landslide in 1962 is famous for the 143 meter high pinnacle that dominates the cove , also known to climbers for its sport climbing routes, the best known of which is Windmills Symphony. Another characteristic element of the beach is natural arch that opens on the right side. Among the rocks, inside the beach, there is also a fresh water source that flows into the sea from the subsoil. Goloritzé can be reached by sea or by a path that goes from Golgo plateau to the cove, about an hour and a half walk.
