Traversella

Traversella is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) north of Turin. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 372 and an area of 39.4 square kilometres (15.2 sq mi). The municipality of Traversella contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Chiara, Cappia, Succinto, Delpizzen, Cantoncello, Fondo, and Tallorno. Traversella borders the following municipalities: Pontboset, Donnas, Valprato Soana, Quincinetto, Ronco Canavese, Tavagnasco, Brosso, Trausella, Meugliano, Ingria, Frassinetto, Vico Canavese, and Castelnuovo Nigra.
