Possagno is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Treviso in the Italian region Veneto, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) northwest of Venice and about 35 kilometres (22 mi) northwest of Treviso. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,154 and an area of 12.1 square kilometres (4.7 sq mi).
Possagno borders the following municipalities: Alano di Piave, Castelcucco, Cavaso del Tomba, Paderno del Grappa.
The famous sculptor Antonio Canova (1 November 1757 – 13 October 13 1822) was born in Possagno. Its most prominent landmark is the Tempio Canoviano (Canova temple) designed by the artist and completed after his death.
