Piozzano (Piacenza)
Piozzano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Piacenza in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 150 kilometres (93 mi) northwest of Bologna and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) southwest of Piacenza. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 714 and an area of 43.5 square kilometres (16.8 sq mi).
The municipality of Piozzano contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Groppo Arcelli, Vidiano Soprano, Pomaro, San Gabriele, San Nazaro, Monteventano, Montecanino, and Canova.
Piozzano borders the following municipalities: Agazzano, Bobbio, Gazzola, Pecorara, Pianello Val Tidone, Travo.
