Villa Puccini, belonged to the famous composer Giacomo Puccini (Lucca, 1858 - Brussels, 1924) is located in Torre del Lago (LU), hamlet of Viareggio. House of the the Museum "Villa Puccini", the building is managed by the heirs of the composer, who has bought it in 1898 as the residence of rest on Massaciuccoli Lake. The simplicity of the exterior, a rectangular plant, contrasts with the rich interior decoration in Eclectic style, with rooms which derive their name from their intended use: "Hall of the piano", "of writing", etc. The chapel, decorated by Adolfo De Carolis, houses the tomb of the musician and his family. The small garden is inspired by the Japanese style, and is connected to the building through a bay window in iron and glass.
