The purpose of the Museum is to preserve and make available to the public a heritage (about 30.000 plates and original sketches and about 500.000 books and newspapers) crop during the activity, which began in 1965, by the International Exhibition of Comics in Lucca. The material is exposed in rotation, but the full consultation is possible through computer workstations. Multimedia projections and virtual presences of designers who talk about their work make live visitors a real journey through history and in the world of comics.
