The Way of Love is the easiest stretch of the "Blue Way", as well as the most attractive in terms of landscape, especially at sunset. The Way of Love is born by chance in 1920, on the occasion of an extension of the railway line linking Riomaggiore to Manarola: two small paths carved into the rock, half of the young lovers. In the 70s, the Way was equipped with a street furniture dedicated to classical myths about love and poets of love. The National Park of Cinque Terre has promoted a series of measures aimed at the development and usability of the Way, which made it accessible to persons with disabilities.
