Palazzo Barbaran Da Porto
Barbaran Da Porto Palace was built between 1570 and 1575 by the architect Andrea Palladio. It is currently the home of Architecture Studies Andrea Palladio International Centre (CISA) and Palladio Museum. In 1998, after the building it was opened to the public for restoration work lasting two decades. On the ground floor an entrance hall with four solid columns together the two pre-existing building. The center columns are jointed to the perimeter walls by fragments of rectilinear entablature. The decoration involves several occasions some great artists of the time, such as Baptist Zelotti, Anselmo Canera and Andrea Micheli said "Vicentino". Stucco decorations by Lorenzo Rubini and after his death by his son Agostino. The result is a sumptuous palace.
