Giovanni Boniforte's Home is among the most significant monuments of the city to the late Gothic decoration of marble and terracotta which enriches the porch and the facade. The buyer was a wealthy merchant, who proudly sealed his own workshop with commemorative written in Latin and vernacular and with the date of construction (1455). Four columns of Verona marble support a entablature with floral carvings and depictions of the merchandise items. Great variety of goods is also reproduced in relief on the lintel overlooking the windows. The facade is covered by two bands tiled with arches and columns; the six windows are ornamented by different patterns of frames.
