Fondo (Trento)
Fondo (German: Pfund; Nones: Fón) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) north of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,462 and an area of 30.8 square kilometres (11.9 sq mi).
The municipality of Fondo contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Tret and Vasio.
Fondo borders the following municipalities: Brez, Castelfondo, Malosco, Ronzone, Sarnonico, Eppan and Unsere Liebe Frau im Walde-St. Felix.
