Palazzo Mottola Gabrielli

Where Largo Migliarese, Tropea (Vibo Valentia)

The building has a special portal contained within two columns supporting the balcony above. Remodeled in the late '700 and early 800, originally it consisted only of ground floor and first floor. The building is rich in decorative elements such as pilasters, columns, rusticated, rosettes and badges. The scheme of planting is constituted by a light shaft of small dimensions and scales that develop on the side. In the front, overlooking the sea, it has two floors completely buried compared to the level of the access road. Owned by the Count Gabrielli, the Palace was rebuilt for the marriage with Princess Caracciolo. The building was the birthplace of the Venerable Francesco Mottola.
