Marina of the Island, at the foot of the cliff on which stands the town of Tropea, offers to the tourists long beaches of white sand, interspersed with areas of rocks as Pizzuta, the rocks "a Tunnara", Capo Cozzo and the Rock of the Galleys. To the south of the Marina, the beach becomes more rocky, bordered by cliffs. Among the most charming places to visit, we point out the Skeleton Cave, under the rock of the Island, and "Formicoli" where are the remains of the ancient Roman port of divers, Porto Ercole, about 20 meters deep.
