The Civic Museum Sartorio, recently reopened to the public after years of restoration, is housed in the eighteenth-century building belonging to the family Sartorio. Retains original furnishings from nineteenth century, a series of precious ceramics, rich collections of art, the collection Rusconi-Opuich which includes about 2.500 pieces of various types from ancient to the '900, (paintings, drawings, prints, jewelry, textiles, silver etc.), the important collection of drawings by Tiepolo, the Triptych of Santa Chiara, the fourteenth-century masterpiece of Trieste. In the basements are exposed collections of applied art, jewelry and the remains of a Roman of the first century AD came to light during the restoration work. The gallery, located in the premises of the old stables, includes over a thousand paintings of the collections of the Civic Museum of History and Art. The former was used as a storage carriages Gypsotheque-Glyptothek, with about six hundred sculptures of the XIX-XX centuries.
