La Nave della Sila - Museo Narrante dell'Emigrazione

The "Sila Ship" is housed in an old cowshed and stems from an attempt to tell the Italian emigration from a non-regional point of view. The exhibition contains a reconstruction of an ancient ship, designed by architect Anna Cilia, a collection of photographs, illustrations and covers of old magazines, made possible thanks to donations from foundations, institutions, publishing houses and private collectors, accompanied with texts by Gian Antonio Stella that tell the story of emigration through poems, literary evidence, statistics and adventures of village families.
