The Chapel has been listed since 1996 in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites, inside serial site "Paleochristian Monuments of Ravenna". The only Orthodox monument to be built during the reign of Theodoric, Archbishop's Chapel, also known as Chapel of Sant'Andrea, is ancient oratory of Ravaged Episcopal, wanted by Bishop Peter II and dedicated to St. Peter Crisologist, Archbishop of Ravenna from 433 to 450. The Chapel was erected in 495. The Chapel is presented with a cross-shaped plant, with a lower marble vestibule with mosaics of extraordinary uniqueness. Evidently, the anti-Aryan message contained in the mosaic work of the atrium, which represents Warrior Christ with the cross on his shoulder, in the act of crushing the beasts of heresy, against political government of Theodoric.
