Madonna di Campiglio

Madonna di Campiglio is a tourist resort in the province of Trento located at 1,550 m s.l.m. It is part of Municipality of Pinzolo. Known summer holiday resort and winter especially, it has many ski lifts for downhill skiing and snowboarding and is one of the most popular ski destinations nationwide. In Campiglio reached Empress Elizabeth of Austria, known as Sissi, who spent two periods of vacation, in 1889 and in 1894, staying at Hotel des Alpes. Campiglio is home of "3Tre", one of the oldest races ski in Europe, founded in 1949; Week WROOOM, where Formula 1 drivers of Ferrari and Ducati MotoGP find themselves skiing in the resort, and historic Habsburg Carnival.
