Where Route Martin-Bodmer, 19, Palmi (Reggio Calabria)

One of the most exclusive residential districts of Geneva, offers spectacular views of the Lake. The area is known not only for the popular beach (located near Eaux-Vives) and for water sports that it can practice, but also for the presence of several buildings counted among the most important cultural Swiss heritage: the “Martin Bodmer” Foundation, one of the most important private libraries in the world (which houses the ancient Bodmer Papyri, a group of 22 papyri containing fragments of the New and the Old Testament); the famous Villa Diodati, building of the early eighteenth century best known for hosting various artists, among them Lord Byron, John Polidori and Mary Shelley, that here had the inspiration for "Frankenstein".
