This collection of decorative and applied arts is one of the most important in Italy. Headquartered in "Ducal Hall" and "Rocchetta's Halls" of the Sforzesco Castle, offers early medieval ivories, glass, ceramics, sculptures, jewelery and tapestries that go from the fifth to the twentieth century. Among the most valuable pieces: faiences from Faenza, Urbino and Pesaro; eighteenth-century Lombard ceramics by Clerici and Rubati; Meissen porcelain; the famous "Tapestries of the Months Trivulzio" (XVI century) and important works in wood and furniture of Renaissance carvers (by Maggiolini).
