Sacred Mountain of Beata Vergine del Soccorso is one of Sacred Mountains of Piedmont and Lombardy, included by UNESCO in the list of World Heritage Sites. The fourteen chapels, all built between 1635 and 1710, with a central plan, are in Baroque style, embellished with 230 statues in stucco and terracotta in natural size, made by different artists, including Agostino Silva, Carlo Gaffuri and Innocenzo Torriani. The chapels represent Mysteries of the Rosary and lead to Sanctuary, which represents the fifteenth stage, dedicated to Assumption of Mother of God.
