It contains works of art (paintings and sculptures) related mainly to the figurative culture in Tuscany including quotes analog ranging from the late eighteenth century to the period between the two world wars. Illustrates the evolution of the Tuscan art from the neo-classical period, romantic, purist, focused on the themes of celebration of historical anti-academic reform to be built since the middle of the century the group of macchiaioli and based on a painting made of patches of colors and contrasts light with predominant attention to the subjects of nature and everyday life. The tour concludes with expressions of nineteenth-century decadence, symbolism, post-impressionism, pointillism. Among the artists present are reported F. Hayez, S. League, T. Signorini, G. Fattori, C. Pissarro, M. Rosso, G. Boldini, A. Magnelli.
