Fontana dei Delfini

The Fountain was put at the center of the square in the early 50's but it dates to the early eighteenth century and previously stood in the cloister of the Church of Badia di St. Agata. The Fountain was designed by architect Giovanni Battista Vaccarini, made of white stone on three steps. At the center of the circular basin there are four dolphins, two of the original, while the other two are copies made by the sculptor Salvatore Giordano.
