The museum houses more than 100 items survived to the inexorable process of replacement of the times that cover all the major stages in the history of the Sardinian railways, and it is located in the station of Cagliari.
In the same place, is also well received the D 744 003 steam locomotive, the only survivor of the series, used for a long time in the links Cagliari-Olbia.
