Basiglio is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 13 kilometres (8 mi) south of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,444 and an area of 8.5 square kilometres (3.3 sq mi).
The municipality of Basiglio contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Milano 3, Cascina Vione, and Cascina Colombaia.
Basiglio borders the following municipalities: Zibido San Giacomo, Rozzano, Pieve Emanuele, Lacchiarella.
