Acquedotto romano

Where Via dell’Acquedotto Romano, Abano Terme (Padova)

These are the remains of the roman aqueduct that, from the area of the sources of the northern plains, brought the water to the city of Vicetia. The building was made by arches and pillars that supported the specus. The preserved remains (5 arches and 23 pillars), who are currently in the countryside about 7 km north of Vicenza, are easily seen and are illustrated by a didactic system made by the Superintendence.
